Bridging lived experience and rigorous scholarship.

I am a political scientist and peacebuilding practitioner with expertise in conflict transformation, dialogue facilitation, qualitative research, and community engagement.

My scholarship grows out of a life shaped by Balochistan, one of South Asia's most protracted and least understood conflicts. That lived experience, combined with more than a decade of academic training, drives my work to analyze and address armed conflict not only as a security problem but as a human one, rooted in relationships, structures, and culture.

Across the United Nations Development Programme, the World Health Organization, and the university classroom, I have worked at the meeting point of research and practice. I am committed to nonviolence, human security, and sustainable peace processes, in South Asia and beyond, and to the conviction that even the most entrenched conflicts can be transformed through honest, sustained dialogue.
